This mask is excellent in keeping the fumes out and fresh, breathable air in. My boyfriend farted in my face (he's vegan, so his gas is particularly evil) while wearing the mask, and, for the first time ever, I did not experience the suffocating smell of his farts. Hence, FIVE STARS. I do believe this mask keeps dust particles out, as well, so I imagine it would be a wonderful accessory for Burning Man.

I use to use a dust mask while melting lead, but always could smell it and feared that I was still breathing in the toxic fumes. After getting this it works great, never had problems, I feel safe and know due to the fact I can't smell the lead that it is keeping the toxic fumes out.
